2012, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Higher Education Scholarship Foundation Program established a scholarship program and
began awarding financial assistance for the study of health and other
professional careers. The first scholarships were set up by individuals
who wanted to recognize key people in the profession. With the support
of hundreds of individuals and companies, thousands of dollars in
scholarships have been and continue to be awarded.
The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Higher Education Scholarship Foundation Program scholarship program is limited to the amount of contributions received
annually. The Foundation Program anticipates that it's fundraising efforts will
result in scholarships being awarded by August 1, 2013. In the event
that contributions exceed our fundraising goals, then scholarship awards
may be available sooner. These will be both cash scholarships and
tuition-free or reduced fee entry, to specific educational programs.
Currently, the following scholarships are scheduled to be awarded in 2013:
• Cash scholarships in amounts between $500 and $1,500 from various Foundation Program funds.
Additional scholarships for
specific schools are currently being gathered, in addition to dates in
which scholarships will be awarded, and will be listed here as soon as
they are available. If you are interested in applying, please complete
and submit the application form. After it is received and reviewed, a
representative from the Foundation Program will contact you with additional
information (including award dates).
